What about the Online and offline?Yo warhammer space marine is good or not?
The offline is a great little campaign to mix up your gaming sessions. The story line is a little bit generic, but the gameplay is still fantastic. It's a bit like Gears of War, and yet totally the opposite at the same time.

It's a game where you are always in the thick of the action. There is no hiding, as to regen life, you have to kill enemies in close combat. There is a seamless switch between ranged and melee weapons, and the feel of your character is just intensely amazing!

I'd give the single player 8/10. It's better than a CoD campaign but slightly, only slightly worse than something like Halo.



Multiplayer is where the game currently excels.

The ranking up system works a treat, and the customiser is extreme, although not quite as good as it could be. The gameplay system, with it's three distinct class types (basically Long Range, Close Combat, and Balanced), means that you have to mix up your tactics and style depending on what classes the opposing team are using.

The online is totally different to any other game out there, simply because the entire battlefield is always in play, due to the extreme mobility of the CC class (jump packs! :D) and the range of the heavy weapons available to the LR class.

There are currently only four maps, but this isn't really a problem as each map plays very differently, so there is still variety.

I'd give multiplayer 9/10

BUT I'm not sure the multiplayer has the continuity of games such as CoD. I think that maybe after 2 months or so, the online community may quieten down a bit. However, Relic are pretty good at supporting their games after release so this may not to be true.

ALSO, there is soon to be a co-operative Horde/Firefight type of game mode, where you work together with friends to kill CPU enemies. This will be available as a FREE DLC pack.

Space Marine has got to be one of the best games of the year...Great Game!!!Offline the game is sick, online its ok!!!
