I was wondering if i am allowed to put duels on a space marine. Really i just want to use a plasma pistol and one of those small bolters but i was also wondering if you could put any other kinds of combinations on space marines. Could you possibly put 2 chainswords on them or 2 plasma pistols and if so what are the benefits? and if i put a plasma pistol and a mini bolter on one can i use both in one turn or just choose to use whichever fits the situation best? You can do it, however you will need to ask your opponents permission to use the model that way, since its not official. In some respects you could do it within the realm of the rules, such as adding two chainswords to an assault marine, which counts as having 2 close combat weapons anyways (sword + pistol)., you would be putting yourself at a disadvantage by denying yourself the pistol however.
PS- By "mini-bolter" i assume you mean bolt pistol, yes?
